The Cavendish Arms is 450 years old, previously an old coaching inn, set in the picturesque village of Cartmel, with beamed ceilings, a wealth of antique furniture and a blazing log fire. We serve excellent British food using the finest of local produce, good wines and a range of traditional ales and beers. With friendly relaxed service and very comfortable rooms, you will find yourself drifting away from the hustle and bustle of the daily grind into Cartmel's perfectly laid back village way of life. We are pet friendly but do ask for a £10.00 per night charge for each pet and for you to book your pet in with us at the time of booking with late rooms, to ensure you are allocated the correct room(s)We provide full breakfasts from 8.30 am each morning included in any price quoted, however, we are unable to accommodate for early breakfasts or give further reductions to rates if breakfast is not taken.kind regards.
